I have Reid home from the hospital. The foot doesn't look as bad as I feared it would. He doesn't appear to be in pain and is glad to be home. Because of the long narrow shape of his foot I don't think the loss of the fourth and fifth toe is going to hamper him any.
I got a call from Disability Rights North Carolina while waiting for him to discharged and this should get interesting. I have never heard someone struggle so hard to keep professional and not start swearing. He said they can't order a resident's car to be towed even if the registration is expired. He also heard about all the other problems we are having. Since it looks like the new apartment is going to be ready on June 1st that he will make sure these people don't give us any more problems since they demanded we leave by May 31st.
A friend of mine in California contacted her church and they gave her the number of the church out here and they are going to pack us up and move us. They also promised not to try and convert us.
So the future is looking brighter. I can hardly wait to get into our new place. As soon as we are settled I'll take pictures of the place inside and out and let you know what our home is like. The Princess should like it because I can set it up so she can look out of three different windows and see something other than concrete.
